The Style Hub

Did I hear you say makeup, blowdries, cocktails, live music and shopping!? Yes that's right i said it, all of these mashed together in one lavish place called "The Library" in Leicester Square, the heart of London, how fab can it get.

Who wouldn't want to be involved in one of the top shopping events of this festive season. I certainly do! The Style Hub was the ultimate go-to event, ranging from divine stocking filler's chokers from La Nuit. To making sure you are in tip top shape for the new year's with Slendertox tea. The Style Hub has got all of us chicas covered.

One of my weaknesses, has to be candles i'm a complete sucker for them. Also i genuinely think they make very nice christmas presents ... I mean who doesn't want a lush smell brightening up their home? & Thanks to 40 Degree, I'm making someone very happy this christmas.

Couldn't of had a more fun christmas shopping experience. Performances by the talented Bluey Robinson, sipping a cocktail whilst choosing a party dress from Lemon not Lime. And I wish I didn't do my hair before the event, because the blowdries from The Bardou were definitely on fleek!

So keep an eye out chicas for their next shopping event's in the new year by following their Instagram @Thestylehublondon. If I were you I wouldn't miss it!

See you in next weeks post!

Let's Mix It Up

Having a shopping addictive personality it is not always beneficial to my purse and I don't always have the time to look for my perfect outfit. Mix'n'Matching is the survival key for every new season trend. It's about buying items that are suitable for every season and never go out of style.

In this post I will share with you my mix 'n' matching secrets, alongside an outfit I put together using this technique.

My first tip, when shopping and looking for seasonal items make sure they are clean cut, statement and relevant, I go by these three points like it's my shopping bible. For example, this all year round powder pink, button up skirt has been in trend for two years now and it hasn't failed to come out and play in stores every season. The skirt isn't a bright, bold colour nor too sweet and pastel, it's a perfect blush that will go with every season and a pink thats acceptable to wear with black tights.

Second Tip - There are non-basic colours that you can implement into every season. I tend to buy forest green, powder pink, camel, beige and candy red to match my every seasons colour palette.

I teamed up the skirt with a striped turtleneck that I bought in march (Its in my pay day wish list post)  I love the combination of the stripes and colours, it creates a smooth transition from autumn to winter.  Turtlenecks are always my go-to cold season tops, you just can't go wrong!

Lastly, my third tip - When the top and bottom parts of your outfit has the wowza effect, sometimes adding a simple pair of shoes and coat is always the ideal instrument to a statement look.

I hope my tips are helpful for this season and all year round! Particulary in this busy christmas period.... HAPPY MIX 'N' MATCHING!

My JORD Watch

Happy Sunday to all on this pretty, sunny day ... at last!

Today's post is on my collaboration with the extradordinary JORD Watches. What attracted me to collaborate with the watch brand is the unique material their time piece is made out of, which is wood. Wood is something we see everyday in our daily lives in trees, pencil's, tables, desk's etc.. but we normally don't see watches made out of wood and that's what makes this brand different from every other watchmaker.

JORD is an upcoming watch brand founded in 2013, their watches consist of natural materials, incorporating premium quartz, chronograph and automatic movement. The time piece that stole my heart and that I am currently styling is the Cora Purpleheart & Mother of Pearl watch. The rich purple  colour of the watch combined with Swarovski crystals and Sapphire glass makes it the ultimate statement piece to every outfit, it immediately dresses up your wrists making you feel completely in control of your time. Another bonus of JORD watches is that their shipping worldwide is free and they also offer a sizing service, so you can wear your watch instantly as soon as it arrives at your doorstep... I know i definitely love wearing my deliveries straight away.

For a chance to win a voucher for your own JORD Watch or if you want to give it to a beloved one this christmas, click on the link below to enter their competition!  Contest ends 30th October 2016, so hurry!

Silver Surfer

Happy Monday Everyone!

Today i have tried to keep myself busy and productive, sometimes its difficult on your days off not to be lazy and a sloth, and i can very easily fall into that! I done a shoot today for a special collaboration and started applying for jobs where i would like to start my career in ... so hopefully i get a call back ;) hehe.

Brogues are the trendiest and versatile flat shoes that you can wear for nearly all occasions, work, casual and even for dinner without looking under dressed. Having a slight obsession for statement shoes, i was looking for the perfect brogues. I was seeing a lot of people rocking silver shoes, so i thought i would jump on the band wagon and get myself some bold brogues. Not only are these zara shoes a massive statement piece, but they are also comfortable, which is after all the most important factor especially when you are at work or running errands.

Autumn Boho

This season I have really noticed the use of flare, embroidery and details involving clash of themes boho and western. During my month stay in my homeland of Colombia, I was paying a very close detail to their autumn collections, especially from my favourite brand out there Studio F.

Studio F had a wide variety of clothing to offer, it ranged from smart and sophisticated to boho and chic! and obviously stunning, colourful clothes to match Colombia's warm weather and happy spirits.  Their shoe collection was the apple of my eye, having western style ankle boots really is a winner for their new collection. The boots came in autumn pallet colours, with gold detailed studs around the edges of the boots and a gold plate at the front, which really gives it that glam cowgirl look.

During one shopping trip, I was introduced to a shop called 'ELA', obviously being me, i couldn't keep away from the shops I was immediately attracted to their youthful, boho styled clothing from their new collection! luckily they were doing some summer promotions and managed to get this light silk dress for a good price.

What I Wore

Dress - ELA

Shoes - Studio F

Agent in Stripes

It's so weird not going back to university this September, it feels like a never ending summer holiday! haha not complaining, although I always enjoyed the feeling of buying new stationary and clothes for the start of the academic year, I felt as if it gave me a bit more motivation (no idea how!)

In collaboration with the effortlessly cool brand Double Agent, I put together this cute number for a back to school look! the striped dress is a classic that you can never go wrong with. Personally stripes will always be in style no matter what, this comfortable, bodycon, mini dress is just the effortlessly cool look you need for school/University/ College, it's perfect for this warm September weather! I combined it with a checked skirt and Adidas superstars to give it more of an edgy look.

Rose Gold & Red Dress

Happy Sunday and Happy September!! I genuinely cannot believe how fast this year has gone, a little fun fact, sixteen Sunday's left till christmas eeeeekkk how exciting!

I'm so happy to be sharing today's post with you, as I have teamed up with Smart Turnout to show you one of their watches from their new collection, which is absolutely divine. Smart Turnout are introducing a women's range into their classic British Heritage style watches. I chose this beautiful, white strapped, rose gold watch, as I am obsessed with Rose Gold, also I personally feel like it compliments the white straps so nicely giving the watch an elegant look.

I have styled this classic watch with one of my favourite all time dresses. This Unique 21 dress has me written all over it, pleats, shirt and skater all in one! Couldn't ask for a more statement everyday dress. It's so versatile, you can dress it up with a pair of cute block heeled sandals or court shoes. Or dress it down but still look classy with a pair of loafers or pointy brogues like I did ... And don't worry this isn't just a summer dress, put on a pair of tights and cute black ankle boots and turn it into an autumn/winter outfit!

What I Wore

Watch - Smart Turnout (Women's Collection available in store)

Dress - Unique 21 (Red Sold out but other colours available, click link for white colour)

Bag - Michael Kors
